Curious as to how different alcoholic beverage are made ? Then this might be the book you wanna read. This book covers all the flowers, fruits, grains, trees, herbs and grains that go into making our favorite alcoholic beverages.
The first part of the book discusses the process of fermentation and distillation . The second part of the book tells how brewmasters suffuse their beverages with different herbs and plants and fruits. Finally there is the trip to the garden.
Contained in this book is not only the natural herbal material that goes into making the different alcoholic beverages but there are also recipes for different cocktail which the home drink maker can easily make use of. There are also recipes for different syrups that can be used to flavor your drinks. Along with a discussion on the plant and beverages there is also some history thrown in to give a bigger.
One easy recipes for a cocktail is the one for Black Gold. This just requires 1 1/2 of Karlsons Gold Vodka along with crushed black pepper over ice cube. Prickly pears are like the fruit part of a cactus. A recipes for Prickly Pear syrup would involve taking 10 to 12 of the fruits along with a cup of sugar and a cup of water along with an optional ounce of vodka. Chop up the fruit and boil with the sugar and the water. Then once your done store it in a glass container.
